Evaluation of OHSAS18001 in a Mining Industry in Ezhou City, China

This book is being published by the authors to share their idea and knowledge on the subject gained through research in OHSAS18001 in a Mining Industry in Ezhou City, China. The research was been conducted through six quantitative analysis methods to evaluate the operation result of OHSAS18001 from five aspects: sustainable development, occupational disease, safety investment, safety loss and employee satisfaction. The findings and results are concluded in line with the results drawn from actual operation results (e.g. occupational disease results from a third party inspection organization), and with suggestion for further research on the analysis methods to be improved for the work.
