Evaluation of Project's sustainability in irrigation

The participatory approach Methodology for evaluation of Project's sustainability in irrigation is based on two main approaches. Exhaustive descending analysis going from main dimension objectives to simple parameters affecting the sustainability. This approach gives, to team work including stakeholders involved in the process, deep knowledge for all details relatives to problems and objectives. Synthesis ascending approach, based on indicators definitions, going from the more details to main topics. The knowledge of details permits to calculate indicators from parameters affecting sustainability going ascending to main topics. During those processes, a close contact with stakeholders is assuring by the three forums and the two surveys conducted. The quantitative indicators methodology is easy to apply and group indicators in additional and main topics. Using indices is governance role where main indices give the politic to be followed and detailed indicators serve as a road map to executants.
