The intention to evaluate in a theoretical and practical way the Program of Continuity of Study for Social Workers, is a reality embodied in this research that we developed, with the need to discover the social reality and characterize the demands through a needs assessment, as a basic element in the social-educational and cultural intervention of the program, remaining in its first phase which is the evaluation of the context and needs, with the purpose of determining the relevance of this program, that is to say, to what degree the different actions that complete the program respond or not to the needs of its target group, which are the Social Workers in training in the province of Ciego de Avila, with a view to innovation, change, improvement, prevention or problem solving of the program.

Degree in Sociology, Professor, PhD in Contributions to Human and Educational Sciences from the University of Granada in Spain and Specialist in Local Agricultural Innovation System, she is currently a professor at the Máximo Gómez Báez University of Ciego de Ávila (UNICA).
