Dr Balla Srinivasa Prasad at present working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering department, GIT, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, India. He was awarded Ph.D by Andhra University in 2010 for his research work at Andhra University in the area of automated process monitoring by using machine vision techniques. Dr Balla received his Master s in Production Engineering from S V University, Tirupati, India. He was graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University, India. He has more than Eleven years of experience in teaching at UG and PG level. Dr Balla's research area includes Tool condition monitoring, 3D surface topography, Vision systems applications in the field of Manufacturing.
