Evaluation of the efficacy and safety of surgical treatment of BPH

The monograph presents modern views on the disease benign prostatic hyperplasia, common among men over 50 years of age, leading to deterioration of the quality of life and various complications. Transurethral resection of the prostate gland and holmium laser enucleation of the prostate gland are the two main methods of treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Conducting research in this direction will allow to reasonably choose the most effective and safe methods of treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of life of patients and reducing the costs of medical care.
