Evaluation of the retention of two ionomeric sealants

The aim of this study was to evaluate the retention of glass ionomer cement, Vitro Molar ® (DFL) and Ketac Molar Easy Mix® (3M ESPE) as sealants for pits and fissures in healthy, partially or fully erupted permanent first molars. A total of 412 molars from 110 children were evaluated. Clinical evaluation of sealant retention was carried out 6 months after application in schools in the city of Serra Negra - SP. This book is aimed at dentists with a focus on pediatric dentists.
