Evangelization as Liberation: The Laity's Role

Dr. Panackal's most outstanding performance has been in the field of Family and laity Commission of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattishgarh regions. As his service was found very effective and fruitful, he was appointed in charge of Pastoral Projects of the Archdiocese of Bhopal in 2002. At present, the author is holding different responsible positions as a core team member of Administrative Committee of Finance for Contracts between the Archdiocese and the Religious Congregations. Within a short span of time, after his research, he has become a very reputed and successful personality in the field of Evangelization in general and in issues involving the laity in the Catholic church in particular. His present work entitled Evangelization As Liberation: The Laity's Role is indeed a commendable contribution not only to those who love knowledge for understanding but also to those who read to lead.

was ordained Priest in the Arch diocese of Bhopal, India in 1988. Besides his responsibilities as the chief Pastor and Chaplain of various religious congregations, had done yeoman's service as Rector and Finance officer of the Archdiocese as well as the Foundation Society of a senior college respectively between 1988 and 2002.
