Everyday Lives of Sexual Minorities in Kathmandu
Details
Let's imagine once, what would we feel if we found ourselves differently than what other people have understood us as. A remark "I am not what you see" astonishes us and compels us to think once whether we are fit to the identity as given by the society. Many people around the world are struggling in search for their identity. "Yes" there are people different from what we see. The battle of identities i.e. in between what they are and what has been said they are remains as an unsolved mystery. In our societies, some people get their identity from the society against their belief what they are and they are expected to behave accordingly. So, their real identity is staked. Consequently, they are obliged to live a very suffocative life hiding their realities.
