Details
Young people in custody for remand or detention, by nature of their captivity, are highly vulnerable to the philosophy, policy and practice of youth justice as expressed in their immediate social and physical environment. In this monograph we review current thinking and research about the causes of youth crime and effective approaches to the management and treatment of young offenders. The monograph is intended for use as a resource for all of those who work with young people who have contact with the criminal justice system.
