Eradicating Bank failure is a multifaceted exercise, since banks have a unique nature in their failure characteristics. Thus the conditions leading to failure of one bank may be distinct from that of another. Hence the need for the regulators and the practitioners to understand the various bank failure resolutionI mechanisms and know when best to applies each or combinations of two or more methods. It is in grabs of this that I find it commanding to examine the Bank failure resolution exercise in the 21st century Nigeria. It is my fervent belief that such a book will be of beneficial to students and reseachers in the field of finance and banking.
