Evolution of smart materials in conservative dentistry and endodontics

Advances in information, communication and health technologies triggered a paradigm shift in modern dentistry - the transition to so called SMART DENTISTRY. With the invention of better technology and its subsequent use in medical and dental fields, we have come a long way ahead.In this book, we aim to incorporate a range of materials in dentistry that show evidence of some sort of smart response in conjunction with the newer inventions and technologies which are helping us as dentists and is allowing us to provide better health care services to the society.Not just with the formulation of newer materials, dentistry has also been benefited a lot by extending its arms, grabbing technology from the engineering world as well. With the assimilation of ideas from the Artificial intelligence and CAD-CAM technology, dentistry has flourished multiple folds.
