Examination Malpractice & Barriers to Understanding Science Concepts

This book examines the relationship between exam malpractice, barriers to understanding science concepts and academic performance in primary science among primary six pupils.It looks at variables such as pupils perception of exam malpractice,Teachers' and parental influence, self-efficacy,moral tone of the school and gender as they relate to exam malpractice and academic performance of primary six pupils. The book further considers some limitations or barriers to understanding science concepts which include scientific language, method of teaching science and pupils' pre experience as hindrances which affect the academic performance of pupils.some recommendations were made that, teachers, parents and the society at large should stop aiding and abating exam malpractice to set good examples for the pupils to enable them model adequate behaviors.
