Examining Different Perspectives

Neurologists study the application of different areas of the brain with the help of computer systems such as computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic resonance spectroscopy, single photon emission computed tomography, brain scan or PET scan, etc. But the question is, to what extent do these devices help us to accurately understand the relationship between the brain and behavior? Can a red ring in a PET scan represent false fantasies about the patient's paranoia? Or is there a specific electrical pattern that is indicative of the secretary's big delusions in a manic? Can these machines reflect the cause and nature of illusions? What is certain, then, is that despite all the advances made in neuroscience, the etiology and segregation of many disorders is still shrouded in mystery.
