Exercises' Effect on Osteoporotic Women

This edition consists of 3 chapters that included the basic biomechanics, the physiology of bone, and the effect of exercise as physical therapy method on skeletal mineralization in post-menopausal women with osteoporosis. In this book, the author tries to present the evidence-base behind the physical methods which tend to improve the skeletal mineralization and provide help for physiotherapists, clinicians, and researchers to find suitable treatment methods that will change the life of osteoporotic patients. The author hopes that book helps the physiotherapists to have the upper hand in alleviating the suffering of osteoporotic patients who have searched a lot to get hope in returning to their normal life free from any disturbing pains.

Mariam Ameer ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Biomeccanica nel 2013 presso l'Università del Cairo. È docente di Biomeccanica presso il Collegio di Fisioterapia dell'Università del Cairo, in Egitto. I suoi principali campi di interesse sono le lesioni sportive, la biomeccanica, l'analisi del movimento e l'ergonomia. Ha pubblicato diversi lavori di ricerca su riviste internazionali ad alto impatto.
