EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The subject of Chemistry is taught in the first period of the undergraduate courses of the Faculty of Engineering of the Autonomous University of Yucatan. In this book, five experimental works of undergraduate students of the undergraduate degrees in Engineering are shown. In all the works the freedom of decision and selection of the developed projects is privileged, the development of the experimental projects facilitates the learning to the university student since when relating the learning of the basic sciences of Engineering with the applied Engineering the student maximizes his learning objectives. The contents of this book are: "CONSTRUCTION OF A COMPOSTING SYSTEM FOR DOMESTIC WASTE", "SEMIAUTOMATIC VERMICOMPOSTING SYSTEM", "SOLAR DISTILLATION AS AN EFFICIENT MEANS OF WATER OBTAINING", "WATER HEATER WITH SOLAR ENERGY" and "PAPER RECYCLING BY HOME METHODS". All these works seek the mathematization of Chemistry, which is fundamental in the learning of Engineering. These activities allow the university student to integrate the knowledge learned since they manage all the stages of the project carried out during the course.
