Models are as accurate as the data that are fed into
them. This is specially true in the case of the
sulphide capacities of metallurgical slags. This
book describes the tasks that the present author has
undertaken to generate a set of accurate and self-
consistent data. Incorporation of these data in the
sulphide capacity model developed by the present
author and co-workers has enables an accurate
extrapolation of the sulphide capacities of multi-
component slags as a functions of temperature and
composition.
Autorentext
Mselly Nzotta is a Senior Researcher at Uddeholm Tooling AB. After receiving MsC Degree in Metallugical Engineering at the Higher Institute of chemical Technology in Bulgaria, he joined the Royal Institute of Technology,Sweden where in 1997 and 1999 he respectively earned his Licentiate Degree and PhD in Metallurgical Engineering.
