Experimental Demonstration of a Dual Polarised MIMO Antenna System

This paper presents the detailed design of a dual polarised patch antenna through computer simulation and experimental studies. This patch can be used for MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) communication. COMSOL and Ansoft Designer have been used for simulation study. One dual-polarised patch antenna has been designed and constructed with low profile and . This antenna consists of a DGS (defected ground structure) to provide a high isolation.
