Established in 1968 the Booker prize has become a well reputed through out the world for its fascinating and attractive as well as prestigious and esteemed literary prizes in the literary field. The Booker prize gives more importance to the literary work rather than the authors. V.s. Naipaul, Salman Rushdie, Arundhati Roy,Kiran Desai and recently in 2008 Arvind Adiga have been awarded with Booker prize. besides these authors there are several others getting short listed every year but unfortunately they are still in queue.The Indian writers have created their place at international level in the field of diasporic literature.Every one of them have created a place in English literature. Exploitation is the theme which has been reflected in their writing implicitly and explicitly.The Book focuses on the theme of exploitation at social, political, economical, educational level and compares the novels thematically with each other.Due to the variety of viewpoints reflected in the book it becomes very useful for teachers and students.
