Exploratory Study on Related and Unrelated Foster Care Placement
Details
Social work as a profession has long been concerned with strategies for effectively helping troubled families. Some of these strategies are family preservation strategies. When these strategies are failed to work, one option available to social workers is the removal of children to substitute care. Deciding whether to remove a child from his or her biological parents into substitute care is one of the most difficult and sensitive responsibilities faced by Social workers and the children s court.
