Exploring the Acidic Protease Producing Microbes From Soil

The current work is a master dissertation submitted by Ms. Nivedita Mishra for the award of her postgraduate degree. The work deals in isolation and characterization of acidic protease producers from soil samples collected from various locations of Lucknow. In the current investigation three soil samples were processed which resulted in the isolation of six potential protease producers. These isolates further screened and identified a strain with highest titre of acidic protease.
