This book is intended as a tool for students, scholars and practitioners interested in deepening their understanding of the intersection between democracy, political theory and human rights. It is hoped that its pages will inspire new research approaches, promote interdisciplinary dialogue, and encourage critical reflection on the challenges and opportunities we face in the quest for a more just and equitable society. Ultimately, this book is a testament to the relevance and necessity of continuing to explore the boundaries of emerging lines of inquiry, and in doing so, we hope to contribute to a world in which human rights are recognized and protected in their broadest sense, and where political theory is a beacon guiding our efforts to build more inclusive societies respectful of human dignity.
