This book is a MSc. dessertation work carried out by Mr. Prafull Salvi under the supervision of Dr. Pushpa Lohani, Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering, GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology,Pantnagar,INDIA. The work presented in this book shows the expression of MYB transcription factor in drought conditions in E.coracana. It can be considered as a small step in the way of making drought tolerant transgenic plants.
