Extent of knowledge and adoption of biofertilizers use

With the existing scenario, it is felt that a study on knowledge level and adoption level of biofertilizers by the biofertilizer users is the need of the hour. Only after gaining sufficient knowledge on bio-fertilizers, biofertilizer users would develop favourable attitude which will ultimately lead to communicate additional messages on the use of biofertilizers through various mass media. The finding about the adoption and factors influencing adoption of biofertilizers will throw light on the adoption behaviour of client system. The findings on problems and constraints in the adoption of biofertilizers would help the planners and extension workers to find out the ways to solve them in a systematic manner.

O autor completou a sua licenciatura (Agri.) na Universidade Agrícola de Anand, Anand, e atualmente prossegue o seu programa de pós-graduação na Universidade Agrícola de Navsari, Navsari. Publicou os seus dois trabalhos de investigação numa revista internacional e também participou num seminário nacional e numa conferência internacional.
