Since 2014 he has been an examiner at the oral examinations of the European Board of Urology (EBU), in Brussells, and since 2013 he has been the external expert of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) for the review of grant applications.

He is an examiner of oral and practical examinations at the Swiss Board of Urology, as well as a reviewer for numberous scientific journals, including the Journal of Urology , British Journal of Urology International , and the British Journal of Cancer .
