Facility Management

Facility management is logical outgrowth of competitive market in which facility design is a vital element. Facility layout is a subclass concerned with the optimal spatial arrangement of facilities such as plants, machines, equipment, services etc., for achieving certain objectives of an organization, aiming at minimization of material handling cost (quantitative terms based on flow of material i.e. rate of material movement) and maximization of total closeness rating 1 . More recently the term facility design has come to describe the process of planning physical equipment, human being and structures into efficient system designed to furnish services or manufactured goods.

Dr Pushyamitra Mishra has done his M.Tech from Maulana Azad National institute of technology, Bhopal,MP,India in the year 2006. He has done his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2011. He is having more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. He has guided more than 14 PG and 5 Ph.D scholar. At present he is Asst.Prof at MANIT.
