Factors Affecting financial Management of Public Secondary Schools

Many public Secondary schools in Kenya have been experiencing financial constraints before the end of the budget period. This is attributed to low education and insufficient financial management skills among BOM and Bursars. In addition other factors which include retirees being assigned duties of handling school finances has contributed immensely to poor financial management. Furthermore, low salary is also among major factors contributing to poor management of finances among public school in Marani Sub-County in Kenya.
