The economic and social benefits of cooperatives have long been recognized widely beginning with the formation of the Rochdale Society of Equitable Pioneers back in 1844, in England. Since then, in all its different forms, cooperatives have virtually flourished and continue to do so in nearly all regions of the globe. This book is about a study that had looked into the factors that affect the development of cooperatives in general and agricultural service cooperatives in particular.
