This study explored the professional and personal factors that influenced a woman's healthcare professionals' retirement intentions to retire early and the incentives that might encourage her to stay longer in employment. The study used a descriptive correlational design to explore the intention to early retirement and identify the factors that affected the intention to early retire among Jordanian women working in the health sector. The correlational design was utilized to present the general overview of the specific phenomenon and to examine relationships between the study variables (Sekaran and Bougie 2016).
