Education of persons with disabilities has passed through various stages. This is from that of neglect through intergration to the current trend where inclusive approach is highly embraced as the most ideal.As one of the human rights, the main purpose of education is for wholesome human development. In view of such philosophical ideologies,children with disabilities like those with hearing impairment are expected to undertake education for their future life opportunities through training hence employment.This is pegged on good academic performance despite any form of difference among learners.In Kenya and even in other countries,academic performance is also attached to attainment of good grades in mathematics as a core subject. This leads the school leavers to training opportunities hence employment thereafter. This book is focused on examining factors contributing to poor performance in mathematics by learners with hearing impairment after the eight year education program. Suggestion for possible solution solutions to be undertaken by the schools have also been passed. The book is of great help to teachers,parents,professionals in education and special needs sector
