Factors influencing flooding in agricultural areas

This research work was carried out in the agricultural land of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FACIAG) of the Technical University of Babahoyo, which has the school of agronomic engineering, agricultural engineering and veterinary medicine where their students along with their teachers perform field work, graduates along with their tutors research work and the exploitation of various crops both short cycle and perennial and livestock that occur in its 225.3 hectares. These lands currently present a major problem mainly in the wet season, taking into account that one of its boundaries is the river representing 56.48% of the total perimeter of the property and that each year causes great agricultural losses where their teachers through field plots teaching their respective students of different levels a wide range of topics in different subjects, without taking into account the economic losses in the damage of materials, machinery and infrastructure with which the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo has.
