Facts, lies and opinions

Finding rules and critical methods for identifying and signalling fraudulent discourse is a task that has been necessary since the 4th century BC for all those who defend a free, equitable, just and responsible society. Regaining credibility so that the use of these methods is generally accepted, and with due recognition from the authorities involved, is another major task. I don't think that relying on the notion of personal charisma alone will solve this 21st century Gordian knot: maximum and free dissemination of information via social networks and maximum guarantee of truth.
