FAILURE MODE AND EFFECT ANALYSIS IN RADIOLOGY

A healthcare FMEA is a prospective evaluation that pinpoints and enhances process steps while fairly ensuring a safe and therapeutically desired result. Healthcare FMEA is a methodical strategy used to recognize and reduce risks that could lead to patient tragedy. Hence the research was conducted in radiology department at a multi specialty hospital. The failure modes that may impact the existing procedure in this department are elucidated by this investigation. Specific action plans has been discusse; by putting it into practice, it may assist to improve the procedure and design at the radiology department.
