Farmers' awareness through ICT for increased farm productivity

The study was conducted with farmers where the author used new technology for the extension of the information using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for increasing farm productivity of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Agricultural University Extension Center (BAUEC) has been using the ICT tools for supplying farm information to the farmers at the present time and this is a new dimension in Bangladesh agricultural sector. According to the design of this work, author developed her research instruments to find out the impact of ICT mediated extension services on farm productivity as well as their awareness on ICT tools in day to day farm life.

Sadia Jahan Moon has born on 1985 in Bangladesh. She has completed her Bachelor on BBA from Bangladesh and Masters in Development Studies in Norway. At present she is happy with her husband Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam and two kids, Innayah Ashraf and Mahrus Ashraf. The author is curious to develop her career in research with farmers.
