Farmers' perception of soil erosion and soil conservation measures

This survey report was done by a researcher from college of Agriculture and Natural Resources. This piece of research has assessed farmers' perception of soil and water erosion problems along with their attitude towards soil and water conservation measures and technologies being practiced and introduced around the Choke watershed of the Sinan District in East Gojam Zone. Sample PAs and respondents were taken from the lower and upper catchment areas of the watershed and data were collected, analyzed, interpreted and finally conclusions and deduction were made.

Yirgalem Eshete Fithanegest è nato nel 1982 in Etiopia. Ha conseguito la laurea magistrale in "Sviluppo rurale ed estensione agricola" presso l'Università di Alamaya. Ha conseguito la laurea in "Estensione agricola" presso la stessa università. Attualmente lavora come istruttore senior presso l'Università Debre Markos, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
