Electricity is increasingly in demand to power growing commercial, industrial, and residential loads. In addition, managing the electric distribution system has become more difficult. The main objective of the distribution network's efficient monitoring and control has been discovered as an absence of information at the base station on its state. Fault detection is the process of discovering the presence of a fault in any equipment before it manifests itself in the form of a breakdown. It is the most important stage of FDD as all of the downstream processes depend on its accuracy.-In the current scenario transmission line fault Detection is major and important issue. In transmission line 85-87% faults of power system occur in these overhead Transmission line. In this paper, we discuss about various Method to control the fault generated in transmission line and solve this in real time. This method proposes Smart grid systems consisting of digitally based sensing, communications, and control technologies and field devices that function to coordinate multiple electric grid processes this will help the homeowners to provide a simple, fast and reliable way to automate their environment.
