With the help of assessment, development trends are studied, factors of change in the results of activity are deeply and systematically investigated, plans and management decisions are justified, control over their implementation is exercised, reserves for increasing the efficiency of production are identified, the results of the enterprise's activity are evaluated, and the economic strategy of its development is worked out
