Financial Instruments of Turkey within Conservation Activities

The main conservation act of Turkey was amended in 2004 and many new financial instruments were inroduced into practice. This study is a dissertation prepared in 2006 on Turkey's financial resources for heritage conservation and their efficiencies in implementation. Each instrument is firsly analyzed within its own system, secondly an overall evaluation and comparison is held through an analytical study while one third of this work is dedicated to proposals.

Evrim SAHIN ULUSAN was born on the 7th of March, 1982 in Giresun. She graduated from the department of City and Regional Planning at METU in 2003, and got the master degree on Urban Policy Planning and Local Governments at the same university in 2006. She has been working for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism since 2004.
