Finding the Self

This book is the author's reflection on her personal process in therapy through which she reconnected with her heart and true self. By reflecting on her experience, presented over a four-year timeframe, she illustrates that finding the true self through a process of heart opening can bring about deep healing and change. Framed by body psychotherapy and family constellations theory, she presents her experience with both of these schools of therapy and shows how each of them contributed to her process of transformation and reconnection with the heart and self. She explores her experience and contemplates how her understanding and insights can be applied to work with clients.

Agata Burdziuk holds a M.A. in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle. For the past 10 years, she has been dedicated to an inner path of self discovery through her experience with various schools of depth psychology and spiritual traditions.
