Five-membered derivatives of 1,4-benzodiazepine

This book describes the incorporation of 2-[4'-oxadiazolo, imidazo, benzimidazo, thiadiazolo, isoxazolo, and pyrazolo] derivatives on to the 1,4-benzodiazepine nucleus through phenoxyl/ phenylamino spacer from the corresponding amidine, imidate ester, thiosemicarazone, dimethylaminomethylene ketone, and chalcone derivatives. The structures of all compounds have been established by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and MS spectral data.

Dr. Navjeet Kaur has received her BSc. degree in Chemistry from Punjab University, Punjab, India (2008), MSc. degree in Organic Chemistry at Banasthali University, Rajasthan, India (2010) and obtained her PhD. degree in 2013 from Banasthali University, Rajasthan, India. She is an Assistant Professor in the Science faculty of Banasthali University.
