Flash + After Effects
Details
After Effects provides the Flash designer with an assortment of visual effects that are difficult or impossible to achieve with the Flash toolset. These applications become more integrated with each software revision, allowing Flash projects to be executed more efficiently and more creatively with the addition of After Effects. Moreover, the After Effects video pedigree permits Flash designers to create video with alpha channels that open the projects to broadcast distribution and richer interactive designs. Flash + After Effects bridges the two applications together to clearly demonstrate how Flash and After Effects can be integrated to produce enriched content for the Web, broadcast, or CD/DVD delivery. It teaches readers how to think creatively about new animation and visual effects in their Flash projects. And it illustrates the applications in full-color print presentation and offers a website with sample projects, exercises, and tutorials.
Flash Designers: push Flash to the next level with After Effects' robust toolset. This title gives you a working understanding of the AE toolset and professional techniques that raise the design bar for web, HD broadcast, or CD/DVD delivery.
Praise for the first edition: "The definitive guide for Flash designers and artists. Not only does he cover the nuts and bolts of combining these programs in practical and efficient ways, but the examples he uses are wonderfully designed. This is a book I will keep within easy reach in my studio." -Chris Georgenes, Mudbubble LLC, animator and author of How to Cheat in Flash CS3
