FLGPD

The study in this book aimed to develop and validate a framework to guide Brazilian companies and/or companies from other countries in the chemical sector in the process of adapting to the new General Law on Data Protection (LGPD). This essay has made it possible to analyze the challenges and dilemmas faced by all companies in the Brazilian chemical sector that need to adapt to the LGPD. In this period of information exploitation, we must reflect on the importance of the protection and privacy of personal data and the need for companies to comply with the law, as well as to protect the fundamental rights of freedom, privacy and the free development of the personality of citizens. Some of the steps taken were to report on the personal data protection regulations to be used in the research, as well as to learn about the frameworks already developed and, from the same point of view, to propose a model framework to guide Brazilian companies in the chemical sector in the adaptation to the LGPD.
