For a conversation about performance histories in Brazil
Details
Hélio Oiticica is radical in the possibilities of the state and of invention, so that his questionings, like the possibility of the new, happen all the time marked by the encounters, different references and experiences that intersect during his journey to produce a "minor art" that reveals the potentiality of creation outside the majority models and discourses of power. Far from formal education modes, the artist communicates and builds his project through courses, trips, letters, diaries, phone calls and parties, which apparently is not new, but, when diving into these documents, traces, memories, his audacity becomes current and the opportunity is created to seek in his scribbles, new provocations, directly or indirectly for the body, for the scene, for society.
