FORENSIC EXAMINATION

In the world, occupational disability due to blindness and visual impairment in humans associated with injuries of the visual organ remains a very urgent medical and social problem. In modern conditions the most common types of traumatism of this organ are mechanical trauma. According to statistical data "...eye traumas and their consequences among diseases of the visual organ is one of the main causes of blindness and professional disability, especially these unfavorable phenomena are observed among persons of the most able-bodied age..." ...In this regard, the development of preventive measures, improvement of effective methods of early diagnosis and high-tech methods of treatment of patients with eye trauma, based on the identification of the nature, characteristics of the course, complications and outcomes of eye traumas is of great scientific and practical significance.
