Foundations of Guidance and Counseling

Foundations of Guidance and Counseling is an attempt by a seasoned academics and practitioner to bridge the paucity of indigenous literature in this field especially for our tertiary educational institutions. It has as focus such topics as the comcepts of Guidance and Counseling, Guidance Services, Counselors expected attributes, Practitioners, Work settings as well as the Evolution/Dynamics and Government policies/provisions particularly in Nigeria and in the global context. The dual objective of the piece is to equip student-teachers', Counselor trainees, parents, educators with an indigenous based guidance literature as well as enable the author to fufil academic mandate for upward job mobility.

Autorentext

Ologun S. Ekundayo hails from Egbe, Yagba-West L.G.A of Kogi state, Nigeria.He holds an NCE in PHE, B.ED, M.ED & Ph.D in Guidance & Conseling.The author has various working experiences and currently the director of degree programs in Kogi state College of Education, Ankpa, Nigeria. He's happily married to Eunice and blessed with children.
