FPGA For Digital Filter And Resource Utilization For Its Maximum Order

This book is applicable for those who are interested to design Digital Filters in MATLAB and realize them on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) devices. The Digital Filters have been designed here to test their maximum possible orders, so as to implement them on the available FPGA resources. For testing purpose of such filters at the Analogue front, Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) microcontroller has been deployed here. The filter performance for their different orders has been tested on Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO). This gives satisfaction for the filter designers; without using the dedicated Data Acquisition Cards; being interfaced with the IBM PCs to test the filters designed using MATLAB tool.

Gaikwad, born in INDIA, on August 29th, 1976, is M.Sc.-Electronic Science, from Department of Electronic Science, University of Pune, Pune(1999), Ph.D. in Electronics(2010), Diploma in VLSI Design, Pune(2000). He is a Research Guide in Electronics for the faculty of Science in Shivaji University, Kolhapur (Maharashtra), INDIA.
