The book is focused on establishing comprehensive framework for integrating indigenous knowledge into community-based development agendas to foster sustainable socio-economic development in the Zambezi Region of Namibia. it addresses the gap in current development practices by systematically providing guidance on incorporating the rich repository of traditional knowledge possessed by local communities through the framework that is developed.

Autorentext

Mr Maziezi Earnest Joy was born and raised in the remote areas of the Caprivi (Zambezi region today). He is a Sociology and English education teacher, who has taught in primary, secondary as well as in two Namibian Universities. He is a Master of education graduate who is pursuing his PhD through this book.
