France, the future global innovation ecosystem?

Can France take the lead in terms of innovation? At a time when people are constantly talking about Silicon Valley or China as the most powerful tech ecosystems in the world, could France be at the forefront, with its own specificities? The French start-up ecosystem has only grown in the last few years, thanks to government initiatives, but also because of the desire of entrepreneurial minds to push their innovative ideas.
