From a concern for a ramp-up

Radiotherapy is one of the treatments against cancer by the external application of ionizing radiation. The patient management process requires the cooperation of three main actors: the radiotherapist, the medical physicist and the radio manipulator (MERM). This collective construction is based on a computerized technical platform for process modeling and data management. This is 3D conformal radiotherapy. The quality assurance objective is at the heart of the activity of each of the three participants. The doctors in the radiotherapy department of the newly inaugurated Tlemcen cancer treatment centre (CLCC) are aiming to increase the speed of their production. Through our ergonomic intervention, it is revealed that the notion of rate is related to the organization of the service. This is linked to the coordination between the different trades and within the same trade. Under the social influence and the ambition of certain doctors, the recruitment of patients deviates from the prescribed path.
