From Barça Mba Barzakh (Barcelona or the Afterlife)

This book is not only an update of my doctoral dissertation; most importantly, it is also my passion project. The work showcases my labor of love as I have consulted a multitude of literature in three major world languages: English, French, and Spanish to bring the best and the most comprehensive research on migration and on Senegal at large. As international migration, whether in the form of economic migrants searching for better employment opportunities or in refugees fleeing from civil conflicts, has been and will continue to be a delicate trans-sovereign topic affecting all nation-states. Hopefully, the book will inspire and motivate all readers to help find feasible solutions to this daunting global challenge.
