From logistics 4.0 to sustainability

This book highlights the adoption of logistics 4.0 technologies in the Moroccan automotive industry and their contribution to the creation of sustainable supply chains. IoT, artificial intelligence, blockchain and Big Data make it possible to reduce waste and emissions, while enhancing traceability, transparency and customer satisfaction. One of the main challenges, however, remains the high initial cost associated with training and skills acquisition. The proposed approach is based on Lean management, adapting its tools (Kaizen, Gemba, DMAIC, Just-in-time, visual management) to the field of training. This methodology optimizes programs, reduces waste and transforms financial constraints into strategic leverage, contributing to international competitiveness and social responsibility.
